NAVIGATING THE CHANGE FOR PET PACKAGING”

The objectives of this event were:
- To focus on the PPWR and SUP directive: what does it mean for the PET value chain?
- To understand better the food contact: BPA regulation and EU 10/2011 18th amendment.
This webinar marked the first in a new series of PETCORE EUROPE regulatory updates, designed to provide the PET value chain with thorough and timely insights into key European legislative developments.
The series will include two webinars per year, each focusing on specific aspects of EU regulation impacting PET packaging. These digital sessions will be complemented by a dedicated regulatory presentation during the PETCORE EUROPE Annual Conference (5-6th of February 2026, Rome), offering a comprehensive, year-round view of the evolving legislative landscape.
