Herbert has more than 30 years active in plastic recycling, from those 25 years in PET recycling. Since 1994 Herbert was managing director of several plastic recycling companies. In 2000 he founded MultiPet GmbH, a PET recycler based in Germany and today part of the VEOLIA Group. Since the beginning of Plastic Recycler Europe (started as EuPR, today PRE) he is active in this association representing the companies he was working with. Since years he serves as vice-chairman of the PET working group at PRE. Herbert is a member of the BoD at PETCORE EUROPE since 2017.
