online webinar petcore europe

Don't miss your chance and register today! Textile SIG of PETCORE EUROPE, the Brussels-based polyester value chain association, is hosting an online webinar dedicated to the latest developments in TEXTILE Polyester recycling.

This event will provide insights into advancements in mechanical, depolymerization and sorting technologies, while also exploring the challenges of scaling the necessary collection & sorting quantities through the recycling process.

European stakeholders from industry, retail, policy and finance EU leaders will gather for a high-level conference dedicated to accelerating polyester textile circularity across the EU.

The programme brings together regulatory leaders, industrial pioneers, investors and retailers to align the conditions needed for large-scale deployment.

The opening sessions set the scene by examining a central question: Is Europe enabling or constraining the circular transition? Presentations on regulatory steering and industrial prerequisites will clarify how current EU frameworks shape investment decisions and technological rollout.

Several European success cases will be showcased, demonstrating that circularity is already becoming a reality , from an EPR-driven R&D funding model, to a fully integrated industrial platform covering sorting, preparation, spinning and weaving, to advanced recycling technologies entering deployment.

A dedicated investment block gathers institutional and private investors to outline the conditions required to finance textile circularity at EU scale, including regulatory visibility, stable feedstock access and mature industrial models. The agenda also highlights the growing role of retailers, whose engagement is now essential to support collection, design choices and circular value chains.

Twenty rapid industrial technology updates will offer a clear overview of the solutions currently available and the remaining steps needed to reach industrial scale.

The event concludes with next steps for EU-level coordination, including regulatory follow-up, Brussels mapping, and the upcoming work of the platform dedicated to polyester circularity.

This conference aims to create a shared action framework, aligning regulation, industry, investment and retail so that Europe can transform circularity objectives into an operational and competitive textile ecosystem.
