MANON MARLIER

Manon Marlier holds a Master’s degree in Bio-engineering and is specialized in Sciences and Technologies of the Environment.

She wanted to work in an area with high impact on the environment and decided to contribute to increase the circularity of plastic, which is a resource of great value, often misunderstood and wasted. This is how she joined the technical knowledge center Plarebel in 2019. Plarebel is a non-profit organization promoting circular economy of plastics at Belgian and European level.

More precisely, Manon is working as Expert Recycling & Circular Plastics. She covers topics such as design for recycling and recyclability, collection, sorting and recycling processes and markets as well as the reinjection of the recyclates into the circular value chain. She combines practical work on the field with theoretical knowledge in order to give the best advice to make economy of plastics always more circular. She is working closely with the Belgian EPR system for household packaging - Fost Plus.
