Dr. Manica Ulcnik-Krump holds a PhD in chemical science. As managing director of Interzero Plastic Innnovations and Head of R&D is she responsible for the technical development of recycled plastics produced with mechanical recycling for the leading European recycling company at Interzero Holding GmbH & Co. KG. She is plastic material modification specialists and her current developmets focus into modification of post consumer plastic waste for high quality mechanical recycling, recyclability evaluation of packaging, developlments of the methologies for the analysis of the highly contaminted feed stock for chemical recycling and many other areas anyhow connected recycling of post consumer plastic waste. With her deep understanding and many years of experience in the recycling industry she had developed some pioneering solutions for the mechanical recycling of plastics with direct chemical modification of materials ensuring the production of high-quality plastic granulate tailored to the end product requirements of its customers - without compromising on technical quality.

Dr. Manica Ulcnik-Krump holds 2 EU patents on the area of postconsumer waste recycling, has over 200 international publications incl. original scientific articles, published scientific conference contributions & invited lectures.

She is member of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry and Society of Experimental Mechanics.
