General NIAS Project (GENI), is aiming to deploy an industry wide monitoring of NIAS and Contaminants in food contact packaging. By collecting representative data sets, risk assessing any found NIAS and contaminants, identifying their source and giving recommendations on minimizing it, the GENI project will support the highest standards for food safety. The GENI project relies on the expertise of the NIAS WG members and the analytical methods developed by the Lab Cluster.
